5/21/2009 Money is easy come easy go, in the hands one minute, and gone the next; land does not easily go away. The land will always be there. Birthrights mean more than currency, which is too easy to spend on the material items that the currency will temp a person to possess. Material items of this world cannot be taken to the grave; after a person is gone from this earth, material possessions are of little use to the young people or the succeeding generations, but if the succeeding generations of a people, have land, that is much more valuable than material possessions, much can be done with land, and you never, never want to render your rights, especially birth rights!

6/4/2009 I don't live in South Dakota. I have been to the Black Hills. No amount of money can ever equal what they are worth. For the Sioux to have back their ancestral lands in the Black Hills would be a victory for all. Anything else is a continuation of shameful politics.
