Native American Pre-Law Day promotes law careers

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The University of Tulsa College of Law, Oklahoma City University School of Law and the University of Oklahoma College of Law are hosting a Native American Pre-Law Day on March 3 at the University of Tulsa.

Discoverlaw.org is sponsoring the event. 

The purpose of the event is to encourage Native American senior high school and early college students to consider a career in law. Sessions will focus on how to prepare for law school, what students might experience in law school, how to apply to law school and more.  

Guests will also have an opportunity to observe a mock law class taught by Professor Bill Rice, co-director of TU’s Native American Law Center.
