Annual Tulsa Indian Art Festival accepting entries
By STAFF REPORTS TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The 26th annual Tulsa Indian Art Festival is Feb. 16, 17 and 18 at the Glenpool Conference Center on Hwy. 75 and 121st St. near Wal-Mart. General admission is $8 per person. A three-day pass is $10, and student and senior day is Feb. 17 when admission will be $5. The Featured Artist for 2012 is Cherokee citizen Debbe Edwards. Along with authentic Native American artwork, authentic Native American foods, storytelling and daily entertainment will be a part of the festival. Entry forms for artists and students are online at www.tulsaindianartfestival.com. Sponsorship opportunities are available. As part of the festival, the Premiere Night Benefit Dinner will be 7p.m., Feb. 16 at the historic Perryman Ranch, 1.5 miles from the Glenpool Conference Center. The dinner is $35, and tables for the event can be purchased for $500, which will benefit a scholarship fund.
