Cherokees deal with May tornadoes, flooding

TAHLEQUAH – Cherokee Nation citizens, along with other northeast Oklahoma residents, dealt with ultiple tornadoes and historic flooding during in May. Residents of Peggs, Jay, Rose, Leach and other towns and communities suffered from tornadoes while Webber Falls, Muskogee and Fort Gibson endured massive flooding.
