Steve Earle takes stage May 2 at Hard Rock Tulsa
CATOOSA – Singer-songwriter and Grammy Award winner Steve Earle is taking the stage on May 2 at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.

Earle began his career as a songwriter in Nashville and released his first EP in 1982. His breakthrough album, “Guitar Town,” landed on the scene in 1986 and included a Top Ten title track and the song “Goodbye’s All We Got Left.” Since then, Earle has released 15 other studio albums, including “Copperhead Road” in 1988 and “Transcendental Blues” in 2000.
He’s received three Grammy awards, along with the Americana Music Awards’ “Spirit of Americana” Free Speech Award in 2004. Earle’s latest album, “Guy,” is a tribute to his old mentor, Guy Clark. It includes 16 songs written by Clark, like “L.A. Freeway,” “Desperados Waiting For A Train,” “The Randall Knife,” “Heartbroke” and “Old Friends,” which have had a significant influence on Earle throughout his career.
