Cherokee Nation to host Tomb of the Unknown Soldier replica

TAHLEQUAH – The Cherokee Nation will host an opening ceremony for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier replica traveling monument.

The ceremony will be inside the Cherokee Casino Tahlequah’s Chota Conference Center and will include a special wreath-laying ceremony and remarks.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier replica exhibit will be at the conference center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 29 to Aug. 1. Admission is free and open to the public.
