Indian Women’s Pocahontas Club to host wild onion dinner

CLAREMORE – The Indian Women’s Pocahontas Club, the oldest chartered club in Oklahoma, will host its Wild Onion Feast at noon on March 14 at the First United Methodist Church as a fundraiser for its higher education scholarships.

The church is located at 1615 N. Highway 88 in Claremore.

The scheduled menu consists of wild onions with scrambled eggs, salt pork, ham, hominy, corn, fry bread, grape dumplings and sassafras tea.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children or $200 a table. For ticket information, call Ollie Starr at 918-760-7499 or Jennifer Brunn at 918-402-3057.
