The Veterans Center hosts a free luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. for all Cherokee veterans at the center located east of the W.W. Keeler Tribal Complex in Tahlequah. For more information, call 918-453-5000, ext. 4166. Jan. 15
The W.W. Keeler Complex, satellite offices and health centers will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. W.W. Hastings Hospital urgent care and emergency department as well as other CN emergency services will remain open. Jan. 15-27
The tribe’s Male Seminary Recreation Center hosts a spin-off challenge, located at 1501 Graham Ave., in Tahlequah. This challenge is for two-person teams, and the team with the most mileage tracked will win a prize. The challenge is free to gym members and the deadline to register is Jan. 12.
