Littlehead charged with drug misdemeanor
STILLWATER, Okla. – Former Sequoyah Indians and current Oklahoma State University football player Christian Littlehead was one of two OSU Cowboys charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 12.
Littlehead, a redshirt freshman defensive tackle, and Jonathan Rush, a senior offensive lineman, were charged after OSU police found two smoking devices in the players’ campus residence on Dec. 3, according to court documents.
Punishment is up to a year in prison, a $1,000 fine or both.
Littlehead, 20, was ordered to appear in Payne County District Court at 1:45 p.m. Dec. 29 or can arrange to appear before then. No hearing was set for Rush, a 22-year-old from Killeen, Texas.
Littlehead is from Broken Arrow but played high school football at Tahlequah Sequoyah.
In the Jan. 2 Fiesta Bowl at Glendale, Ariz., OSU is matched with Stanford. The Cowboy team travels to Arizona on Dec. 26.
