LA Native commission wants to send children to NBA game
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles City/County Native American Indian Commission is looking for sponsorships to send low-income families to the Dec. 8 NBA game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Phoenix Suns.
More than 200 Native American children and families have sent requests to the commission in hopes of attending the game. All funds and tickets will be distributed to low-income families with attention on children who are in the Indian Child Welfare Act program. The commission is seeking sponsors of 10 tickets or more at $15 per ticket. All tickets donated can be tax deductible.
For more information or to become a sponsor, call Lauren Kimball or Ron Andrade at 805-404-1490.
