Registration open for April 13 pottery class at CHC

PARK HILL – Registration is open for the Cherokee Heritage Center’s pottery class on April 13 with guest instructor Crystal Hanna. The class will focus on coil pots and stamping techniques.

The class is presented as part of a series designed to preserve, promote and teach traditional Cherokee art. The Saturday workshops are held once a month and provide hands-on learning opportunities with various traditional art forms.

Participation in the pottery class costs $40 and includes all materials. For more information or to RSVP, call Tonia Weavel at 918-456-6007, ext. 6161, or email tonia-weavel@cherokee.org.

The CHC is located at 21192 S. Keeler Drive.
