Lynyrd Skynyrd to perform at Hard Rock
CATOOSA, Okla. – On June 11, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Lynyrd Skynyrd will return to The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
Since releasing the 1973 debut “(Pronounced Leh-nerd Skin-nerd),” Lynyrd Skynyrd has sold more than 30 million albums and released 25 singles, including many that have become staples of rock radio.
Among the band’s most popular songs are “Free Bird,” “Gimme Three Steps,” “Saturday Night Special,” “What’s Your Name?” and the classic American rock anthem “Sweet Home Alabama.”
The band’s most recent release is 2012’s “Last of a Dyin’ Breed.” Lynyrd Skynyrd’s 12th studio album peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard 200, making it their biggest hit since 1977’s “Street Survivors,” which peaked at No. 5.
In 2006, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
