Cherokee Phoenix hosts free college basketball bracket challenge contest

TAHLEQUAH – As one of the country’s favorite sporting events returns after a year hiatus, the Cherokee Phoenix is offering its readers an opportunity to show off their college basketball knowledge through the Cherokee Phoenix 2021 Bracket Challenge.

Readers can submit a free entry into the contest starting at 9 a.m., March 15. Entries will be accepted through 11 a.m., March 19.

At the conclusion of the men’s NCAA college basketball tournament, the three entries with the most points will receive a prize. First place will receive a basketball signed by Oklahoma Sooners head coach Lon Kruger with second place receiving a basketball signed by former Sequoyah Lady Indian and Kansas Jayhawk star Angel Goodrich. Third place will receive a Cherokee Phoenix merchandise prize package.
